Mulled Wine

TIME: 15 minutes

Serves: 6

Cold weather calls for a warm drink and mulled wine is a great way to spice up your beverages.

 Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of red wine - we recommend a Merlot

  • 1/4 cup Brandy

  • 4 slices of dried orange

  • 4 cinnamon sticks

  • 4 whole cloves

  • 3 star anise

  • 1-2 tbsp Maple Syrup

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and heat on a low-medium heat.

  2. Once the mixture begins to bubble turn off the heat.

  3. Taste test - if it’s not spicy enough for you put the pot back on the heat for another 5-10 minutes.

  4. Serve and enjoy!

Slow cooker - Add all ingredients to the slow cooker and cook on low-medium for 30-45 minutes.
