Mulled Wine
TIME: 15 minutes
Serves: 6
Cold weather calls for a warm drink and mulled wine is a great way to spice up your beverages.
Ingredients:
1 bottle of red wine - we recommend a Merlot
1/4 cup Brandy
4 slices of dried orange
4 cinnamon sticks
4 whole cloves
3 star anise
1-2 tbsp Maple Syrup
Creating the Magic:
Add all ingredients to a saucepan and heat on a low-medium heat.
Once the mixture begins to bubble turn off the heat.
Taste test - if itβs not spicy enough for you put the pot back on the heat for another 5-10 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
Slow cooker - Add all ingredients to the slow cooker and cook on low-medium for 30-45 minutes.
