DIY Bath Bombs - from Bottega Zero Waste
Do you enjoy making (and/or using) bath bombs? To be honest I find myself making and gifting them way more than using them!
This recipe is a tweak of a previous bath bomb recipe I published a while ago, but this time I’ve been using coconut oil. Melted in the bath they are super nourishing for the skin, while the salt helps release pressure from muscles.
And, they make also a great Christmas gift too (as long as you don't need to ship them anywhere as I don't think they'll survive 🙃)
Ps. I almost broke one in the making! Bath bombs are super simple but you do need to make sure to press them super super well into the mould so they hold together
Recipe:
- 2 tablespoons citric acid
- 4 tablespoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoon of Fine Pink Himalayan salt
-1 tablespoon of melted coconut oil
-10 drops lavender essential oil (or any oil you like)
- time for yourself to actually enjoy them :)
